Celebrate Recovery
Celebrate Recovery is a safe place to find freedom from your hurts, hang-ups, and habits. These things prevent us from reaching our full potential, living in wholeness, walking in freedom, and having a close relationship with God and other believers. Celebrate Recovery is here for whatever hurt, hang-up, or habit you want to recover from. If you want to change, we want to help you surrender and change!
We will be meeting every Wednesday from 6 pm to 8 pm starting January 8th, 2025
The Three Main Elements
The three main elements that are unique and important to this ministry and each person who walks through our doors are the Large Group Meeting, Open Share Groups, and Step Study Groups. Two of these happen at our Wednesday night General Meeting night, and the Step Study Groups meet on a different day or night of the week from the General Meeting. Joining a Step Study is recommended once you are ready to do the work it takes to make a lasting change.
Large Group
We start our meetings off with a time of worship, followed by lessons taught on God’s word and the steps & principles of recovery. On alternating weeks, a testimony is given by individuals who have walked through the Celebrate Recovery healing process.
Open Share
These groups meet immediately after the Large Group concludes and are gender specific. Participants openly share struggles and/or victories with others. Our groups remain open to newcomers each week without a need to ever sign up or share, if you prefer not to do so. These groups are led by a trained Celebrate Recovery leader and co-leader.
Step Study
These groups are gender specific groups for those ready to delve deeper into their hurts, hang-ups, and habits. In Step Study meetings participants work through the 12 Steps and 8 Principles of recovery using the Journey Begins or Journey Continues Participant Guides. This group is led by a trained Celebrate Recovery leader and co-leader.

Kim: My Story
Kim’s redemption does not include Celebrate Recovery, but it has God’s mercy and grace written all over it! Kim surrendered her sin in 2018, and because of her desire to give hope to the hopeless, Kim was led to learn everything she could about Celebrate Recovery in 2024 in order to lead others to surrender the unspeakable to Jesus once and for all. If you’re considering Celebrate Recovery but want to know more before coming to a meeting, feel free to reach out to Kim confidentially at celebraterecoverywooster@gmail.com or 330-317-5989.
