Pastor J-Dog….not really, just Pastor Jeremy, is pastor to our Middle Schoolers (6-8), as well as the pastoral overseer of our Prayer and Care ministries here at Wooster Naz. If you’ve ever had an encounter or conversation with Pastor Jeremy, you’ll quickly realize his burning passion to see people, especially young people, experience the Father and say “Yes to Jesus”. While Thrive is the noun to describe our youth ministry, it also serves as a verb to describe what Jeremy desires to see in the lives of each student.
This calling to serve in full-time ministry began on his college campus at California State University of PA. While going through a trying time, he really began to seek what the Lord had for his life and in a moment of desperation and confusion the Lord called him to pursue a lifetime of pastoral ministry, “a joyful and exciting moment,” he reminisces.
When he is not in pastor mode, he is in family mode – husband to Lydia and dad to Keely, Mario and Malachi. When not cheering the two boys on in hockey, Jeremy loves watching his daughter lead worship and play music. And an avid sports fan of the black and yellow variety, he can be found cheering on most types of sports, or simply enjoying a quiet evening around a fire or playing board games.
